Our Partners

Healing Homes welcomes any partnerships with other registered 501 (c) (3)s that share the same vision for a brighter future. Non-profits that specialize in fresh-water wells/systems, building schools and improving medical clinics are always needed. To fulfill the vision of building planned communities for children, joining resources can prove to be invaluable by sharing one expertise with another. If interested in partnering with Healing Homes, or to further discuss possibilities, please contact us.

Please help us recognize these organizations and groups who are our current partners:

The Sir Ketumile Masire Foundation

The Sir Ketumile Masire Foundation was created to honor the inspiring and stellar career achievements of Sir Quett Ketumile Masire, who was Botswana's Vice President for 14 years and President another 18 years thereafter. He is co-founder of the Botswana Democratic Party and was a leading figure in the new government while also playing a crucial role in facilitating and protecting Botswana's steady financial growth and development. Since his retirement in 1998, he has been actively involved in conflict resolution and prevention, promotion of good governance and representative democracy, as well as capacity building for young African leaders.

The Capricorn Foundation

The Founder and President of The Capricorn Foundation - For Africa’s Children is Tatjana Gallist. Tatjana was born in 1968 and grew up in Pakistan, St. Lucia, Tortola, Tanzania, Seychelles and Kenya, since her father worked for the United Nations and the Worldbank. After completing secondary school in Nairobi, Kenya, she returned to Europe in 1987 and studied Business Administration in Austria. Upon graduating from University she began a career in the auditing profession, acquiring all necessary titles to become an independent advisor and auditor. In 1995 she started her own consulting business.

Even though dealing with finances and large clients is challenging in an ever-changing environment, Tatjana’s love for Africa never subsided. Her initial determination to join foreign aid projects after completing University has now been adapted to a more direct and personal approach by setting up this foundation. Today, Capricorn sponsors projects in Botswana, Uganda, Mozambique and South Africa.
